Italian Queens
Out Italian queens come in from Florida. Queens are naturally open mated and arrive ready to begin laying eggs in your colony. Our queen breeder colonies are selected based on a high yield of honey production, brood, and a quick spring build-up. In addition, we also carefully select queen stock that demonstrates tolerance to mites and other pests, pathogens and we always look for a gentle disposition.
Our queens are unmarked.
We will have 20 queens available for pickup around May 7th. If you’ve missed this round of queens, we will be ordering more on a regular basis throughout the season. We will post arrival dates for each batch as we move through the season.
Our queens are available for LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY in the Salina, Ks area.
